The soldier stated that he "vaguely" recalled a detainee who "didn't seem all there mentally". Although the soldier also recalls that the gentleman was not beaten but did have some bruises or contusions when he first came in to the detention facility. He said emphatically that "I can tell you there was no abuse going on at the detention facility" during his time there or by his understanding.
