In March 2009, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence decided to initiate a review of the CIA’s detention and interrogation program. On December 13, 2012 the Committee voted to approve its Study of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Detention and Interrogation Program. The full study is more than 6,700 pages long and remains classified. On April 3, 2014 the Committee voted to send the Findings and Conclusions and the Executive Summary of the report to the President for declassification and public release. This document is the version that released by the Committee on its website on December 9, 2014.
