    - Unknown date, Death- It was alleged that Mohamed Abdel Moneim Al-Azmeerly, an Egyptian scientist, was targeted and captured by U.S. forces because of his prominent status as a specialist in "'polymer macro molecules,' which is used in all military industries, including missiles and aircraft." After being detained, it was alleged that Al-Azmeerly died after being struck on the back of his head (an Egyptian autopsy determined that he died of a broken neck as a result of sudden strike on the back of the head). Also, torture marks and wounds were found on his body; there was a wound above his left eye. Al-Azmeerly was granted Iraqi citizenship.
